Public Works to Go Door to Door
The City of Genoa has begun creating an inventory of the material of all the water service lines in the City. The City will be applying for a grant that may pay for the cost of replacing service lines if they are made of lead.
Over the next 2 weeks, Public Works will be in the area North of Rt 72 and East of Sycamore going door to door asking to examine the water line coming into your home. Public Works needs to be able to access homes to determine the service line material.
This should only take a few minutes.
