City of Genoa, Illinois
Petitions for Candidacy for Mayor, City Clerk and 4 Aldermen positions are now available. The petitions are for candidates to be placed on the ballot for the consolidated general election being held April 6, 2021.
These positions are the elected representation of the citizens of Genoa and serve a four-year term.

The City will be hydrant flushing in the area of Watson Drive, Reid Road and the Wilshire apartments on Thursday, September 24th.
It will start at 8:30 am and should end by noon.
Tomorrow (August 26, 2020), Public Works will be hydrant flushing at the corner of Middleton Street and Stearn Drive in the Riverbend Subdivision. Flushing will begin around 9:00 and should be completed by 12:00. The new 55+ homes on Stearn Drive should be the only homes affected, with lower water pressure or discolored water for a short amount of time.
Tomorrow (July 10, 2020), Public Works will be flushing hydrants on Koch Drive. The areas below may be affected by lower water pressure or discolored water for a short amount of time as a result.
The Community Garage Sales will be July 9th through 11th.
